Hello Sir
yes Sir u can cultivate without land also with hydroponic system. but this methos is still not adopted widely and research is still goig on to know th nutrient content as compared to land grown fodder.
It is possible by Hydroponic techniques to achieve better than normal farm production, immune to natural weather variations, as well as organic and more nutritive, in just about 5%of the space & 5% of the irrigation water..
Producing green fodders under controlled conditions is economical and suitable for adoption.
Hydroponic fodder production involves supplying cereal grain with moisture and nutrients, all outside of a growing medium such as soil, and then harvesting the resulting green shoots and root mat of about 200 – 250mm long vegetative green shoot with interwoven roots over a period of 5 to 8 days.
There are a number of sophisticated systems specially developed for the production of hydroponic fodder.
