You take 10 cows whether desi breeds or cross breeds per 1cow rs 50,000 10 cows is 10,00,000.
You must have 5 acres land.in 1 acre you can put shed with some place to cows to move freely and other 4 acres land

For 10 no of cows ( either Holstein Frezian – white and black or Jersy cross bred cows ) are suitable which are costs about Rs.6.00 Lakhs
For growing fodder crops in 2.00 acre are sufficient provided irrigation facilities are available.
2 workers are sufficient to look after the unit

30 x 20 feet shed is enough for 10 animals costs about Rs.1.00 Lakhs

Inintial capital investment will be around 6..00 Lakhs.

One person from your family must take care of the unit with proper feeding will be successful.
Hither to labour from Bihar are working with a monthly salary of Rs.10000/- Local people are not willing to work in dairy units is problem
You can approach a commercial bank for term loan of Rs.5.40 Lakhs for the same you have to mortgage agricultural land or a vacant site valued at Rs.7.50Lakhs .

Daiiry Entrepreneurship development (DED) subsidy program of GOI is being implemented by the NABARD . Under this scheme 25 % subsidy is available out of the unit cost of Rs.6.00 Lakhs ie Rs.1.50 lakhs , for purchase of milking machines you have bear the same which is costing around 1.0 to 1.50 Lakhs. as the unit cost of 6.00 Lakhs may not be sufficient for you for automation.

We have 2 acres land at sangareddy 40 kms from hyderabad ,Telangana state. Road facing and we would like to start dairy farming there.
Can you pl help us in evaluating the cost now. We would like to understand if subsidy from NAbard is currently available and cost of the jersy cows. We can invest initially about 5 lakhs. Also we would like to.know where can we get bihar workers for this who are experienced in this area.

Please wait till subsidy scheme circular is rented for the current year 2018, we will project report for submission to the Bank for availing term loan.

Bhiar workers are working in AP and Telangana states you can enquire from existing dairy farms
