Hi,
I have an acre of teak tress in kolar and its 20yr+ but due to not much of water its not grown to sucha great extent. How do i sell it and what is the best way to fetch a good rate.

Please advice

The forestry dept is a utter waste for chopping of teak trees.
I have approached once for chopping my trees.
They said fill a "A" form available in their dept and said you have to bribe everyone who come to visit ur farm for inspecting and after 6 months u will get the money 75 %.

The amount he quoted for a 100 year trees is 20,000/ tree.

Crap India :(

hi,
contact forest departement
you will have to give request letter and they will come and check the size of the tree, length, breth, age and then give approval to cut tree.
and if u want to use for your self then u can take bondfide from forest dept or you can hand over to forest dept they will pay some amount , price fixed by forest dept.

what is the girth of the teak wood. are they poles are logs

I also have few teak trees and are 25 years old. I am also looking for good buyers. Can you please let me know whether your teak trees are sold now. And what is the procedure/price you sold.

I have 300plus teak trees which were cut due to high tension lines. Most of them are with the size of 1.5 feet to 2.5feet diameter. Looking for some good vendor

Anyone have contacts for Teakwood buyers in Raigad, Maharashtra. All approvals, cutting and loading need to be done by buyer.
