how to get export license

I have planned to start organic cultivation of vegetable and mushroom. I would like to exports my products. So I would like to know how to apply for a export license or what are the criteria for geting a export licence.

No need to get any licence. U just require importers exporters code number (ie code) from jcci. Very easy formality.

You will require a lot of formalities for the export import code/licence. you haev to apply with Directorate General of Foreign Trade India. web site :- DGFT India Directorate General of Foreign Trade. | DGFT .. Even it is easy process it need the documentations of Bank, PAN , ID etc.... but I would like to suggest you that please take assistance from the consultant/ agent. Other wise you will waste you time...

IEC Code

Hi

In order to start Import-Export trade, you need an IEC Code, ie Import Export Code as issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade.You can check for your regional office on google.Before approaching them its advisable to keep ready a few important documents like trade License ( also called as Gumasta sometimes ) in your newly created firm name.Then you must open a Bank Current account in the same firm name, obviously you will have a Pancard too.

When you go to the DGFT office, I am sure you will find many Agents/Consultants who may want to assist you for a nominal charge....Its advisable to take their services as it will not only ease your work but also expadiate it....

However, I would suggest that first you start supplying your products to other exporters to judge your market ...You can have the IEC at any time....
