How many goats can be fed on one acre grass cultivation?

As a newbie I would like to seek information as to one acre of green fodder cultivation can suffice how many goats in semi intensive farming?

In general, a small ruminant either a goat or a sheep needs 3 Kg greens per day as a balanced diet, with a mix of carbohydrates and proteins. On this principal, from one irrigated acre of land, you can feed 50 goats. Its better to go for silage for the ease of management and fattening/growth of animals.

1 Acre - 25 Goats can be provided with feeds.
