Horticultural Officer Requirement for a Leading Organization at Bangalore
(The total emoluments will be about Rs. 38,000/- per month). Other allowances such as hospitalization benefits, LTC, pension contributions etc. as per Organization rules will be provided).
Requirements :
Should have a Master's Degree in Horticulture or equivalent with specialization in Floriculture from a recognized university. Experience of about 10 years in the relevant field is required. Knowledge of garden development and management, flowering plants and avenue trees and maintenance of large wooded campuses will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualization & Development of unique and sustainable solutions for improving the flora and fauna in the institute
Management of 100 acres large campus and meet the horticulture requirements
Introduce new concepts of horticulture design in the campus
Decoration of indoor areas with ornamental plants and flowers
Development of plants under green-house conditions
Maintenance of existing fruit bearing trees, avenue trees and ornamental plants
Propagation of indoor and outdoor foliage
