I want to setup a small scale unit to produce oils from jasmine & Rose near .

a)Please suggest how is the current demand and market scenario.
b) The minimum economical size of the unit
c) Location of current units in south india

Please provide the basic info .

There is good demand for essential oil in the market. It should produced at a lower cost then only the project can be run sucessfully. Jasminum grandiflorum is well known for concentrate, it is done near dindugul Tamil nadu, rose will grow well in Bangalore and Hosur area. Here it may be carried out. First you visit some farms and distillation units then plan for it. In addition Palmarosa oil, lemon gras oil, tulsi oil, tuberose oil are also having very good demand in the market.Dharmapuri area is popular for palmarosa oil.
