Dear friends,
I am Ramakrishna live in US.. We have farm in India, its about 110 k.m away from Hyderabad (RR Dist.). The farm is taken care by my Dad. Day-by-day its getting hard for him to manage farm and farm animals due to A) its hard getting labor as its close to a big city B) he is getting old.
We have decided from next year on we will stop doing farming or do as minimal as possible. Biggest problem we have is how do we take care of farm animals? We have close to ~100 cattle’s (30 bulls, 30 cows, 20 calf’s, 5 buffalos). The farm animals that we have are Desi bread animals and NOT dairy breaded animals… there is nobody to take care of them. Today you see less and less people providing shelter or taking care of Cows. They are being sold to the butchers without knowing what there life will look after they leave villagers doors.
We are willing to donate them to Go-Ashram or looking forward for someone who can feed animal who have farms. Any other Ideas you have are most welcome.
Now coming to Farming we are willing to provide our land on lease or 50-50 share. Farm land is suitable for paddy, groundnut and toor dal. Soil type is Red soil (just like in HYD) and source of water is 1-well and 5-bore well.
