About Nepali shatavar

Mr Deep,

Nepali shatavar in current scenario is one of the most profitable crop.This crop is of around 20 - 22 month duration.
There are basically 2 types of Shatavar Nepali shatavar also called yellow shatavar and Desi Shatavar. For commercial purpose Nepali shatavar is in demand.The average yied /acre is around 2000 Kg after processing .
Recently the cost of nepali shatavar was around 1000 Rs /Kg
but now it is being soled at 500 - 600 Rs/kg.
The main market for this is Neemuch (MP) and Jodhpur mandi.
Above all actual data as we have sown our 2nd crop this year after getting huge profit from our previous crop.
This is also known as Asparagus Racemosus and extensively used in medicine for increasing lactation in womens and also in energy drinks.
Dabur is the Major buyer of this.
