planting bamboo profitably

Bamboo can be grown on wasteland and has been successfully grown on degraded wasteland near Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.. But the right time to plant is during the monsoons if you have no irrigation facilities. Bamboo planted during the monsoons will establish itself and shoot up immediately. Your land seems to be in a very dry area. If you told us about your exact location it would help in having a better idea of your climatic conditions.

There is govt. subsidy available for planting of bamboo under the National Bamboo Mission. There are govt. or govt. supported nurseries that supply bamboo plants at subsidized rates. You can see the NBM website:nbm.nic.in. For further discussion you can send me a PM.

Dear Mr. Mehta,

Bamboo cant be cultivated on unfertile land. At the same time it wont gives good yields with our irrigation support. Or the area should be with good rain fall. Both the ways your land is not suitable for bamboo.

Then, please let us know why u r calling your land as worst?? Let us know the status of your land. What problem is with ylur land? There is no problem with your land. It can be converted into fertile land by adopting vedic organic practices. Mostly depending on Inidan Holy Cow or Desi Cow.

And please note there is no waste land. All are wasted lands.

For your kind information.

Regards
Raghu Ram
