flower dropping on tamarind trees

Hello,
Dear all,

This is with regards to flower dropping problem on tamarind trees. We have about 300 tamarind trees in a very dry place of Karnataka near Sira, Tumkur. In these tamarind trees the flower blossoms very well but drops off as a result the fruits are not growing. Can anyone please advise me the root cause for this and the solutions to overcome this problem.

Hello sir,
Mango and Tamarind are heavy flower bearer but if you 15 -30 % flower set fruit that would be the best yield because these plants cont support all the flowers 5 fruits / shoot is again good yield rest will fall . but fruit set is less than 30 % then thee are other factors involved in flower drooping.
Heavy irrigation / soil moisture after long dry spell.
More of nitrogen and less Boran
Variation in Night and Day temperature
undermanagement

are the possible culprits of flowr drop please address the issues
