Hi,

I am from jaipur ,I am intrested in floriculture under greenhouse,
can any one provide me details about varieties of flower suitable in this belt,
and information about subsidies given by government in rajasthan,and cost of constructing greenhouse per sq. mt.

Hi
I am L K Khatri from Pune and is Project consultant. You can grow Gerbera under Green House, which are largly used for decoration for Marrige receptions and hotels. The cost of project for Gerbera plantation for approx. 2000 Sq. Mtrs would be Rs. 25.00 Lacs including cost of Green house, drip irrigation bed preparation and other cost. The project payback is 1.5 yrs and crops yields for 4 years. The govt provides 25% subsidy on the projects under NHB guidelines. I think Raj Gvot offers upto 75% subsidy on green house cost.
