Find out the Ground Water???

HI,
We have not called any Geologist for finding out the water source in our land where it's exactly located. Just we called one traditional person who is using stick to rotate and find out the water. Then we have called bore well people and they used 6and1/2 inch bore. we couldn't find the water up to 250feets after that found water so we extended up to 500 feet.

When we called Drip irrigation people (JAIN) they are saying like we should do the water yield (flow) test. Then only they will come and do all the installation. Now how i will find out the water location? which motor (HP) to be very fit and very useful in the future?


Pls guide me if anyone who has experience already this situation.

Fit a pressure gauge at the delivery end of the pump end and allow the water to get collected into a container for about 5 minutes or so. Measure the quantity of water in terms of Litres per minute and furnish the pressure gauge reading enabling the Drip designers to design a suitable system to your land.

I am having 30 acres of farm at Kuhi (Tahsil), District Nagpur, (wikimapia.org location Coordinates: 20°56'37"N 79°22'58"E), I have constructed water collection pond of 10000 litre capacity.



During summer the water level of all near by wells (3-5 km radius) become almost zero, I wanted to dig bore well in my farm, Does it mean that if I dig a bore well then chances of failure are more.



The villagers are insisting me to get help of dowser or traditional consultant who finds best location by some intutions.



I am not interested to use these methods, So kindly guide me a step by step process to get the best location using all latest scientific methods.

Where can I get gunine one best water diviner, geophysicist, hydrogeologist or Groundwater bore well locating expert consultancy firms at Nagpur?

Which is the best season to get the survey done ?
