Farming In Hosur- Need advice

Hi - I and few of my friends working in Bangalore have decided to take few acres land on lease and practice farming - primarily vegetables and later expand it to horticulture/ with green house. We intend to appoint a full time person (local) to manage it on a day to day basis- with supervision from our side on a weekly basisi.

Anybody who has travelled the path earlier, can share their experiences/ advice to us and we will be thankful to them !
