Dear All,

Im interseted in fixing drip irrigation for my 02 acres coconut and mixed fruit farm and Sprinklers for 05 Gundas ( Vegetable plants) , please advise how much it will cost me along with the available source.

Hello sir,
for drip irrigation it may cost around 50000 with existing facility and for sprinkler another 25 thousond these cost varies from place to place kindly contact drip dealer in your place and you will get subsidy also for this do visit nearest horticulture or agriculture department.

What Kirti is sayng is on higher side

Since Coconut is widely spaced crop, it will cost 25000-30000/Acre. Use 4 drippers for each tree with discharge capacity of 8 Ltr/Hour/Dripper

For Vegetables use laterals at 1 Mt spacing, you can grow crop of your choice, it will cost you nearly Rs. 10000 for 5 Guntas

Go for NETAFIM or John Deere Company material

Again the subsidy amount depends on crop and spacing (You may get nearly 75 % )
