Diary Farming: Would like to know climate impact on milk yield.

Register
We are planning to setup a large scale Dairy Farm and looking for details on ideal climate condition for a dairy farm.

My home town, Tirupati, is humid and monsoon climate remains moderate and summer experiences temperatures ranging from 42 to 45 degrees Celsius (107.6 F & 113 F). In winter the minimum temperatures will be between 10 and 18 degrees Celsius.

But near by places, like Palamaner, has higher altitude and relatively cooler and less humid than Tirupati.

We are looking for details on %diff of milk yield b/w hot (tirupati) and mild climate.

Please share details.

Dear Jangamjaya,

The climate difference will not be more than 5% if proper care is taken.

Please feel free to CALL (No Mail/post) to discuss in details.

Dairy farm at palamaner

Dear Sir/Madam,
It is better to opt to set up any where around Palamaner instead of Thirupathi.
Climate here is good and marketing is very easy as many dairy's are already existing here.
Regards.
