hi
i have 6 vigha land near Aanand, Gujarat.

I want to start dairy project on commercial basis.

Can anyone give me
1]current cows and buffaloes price and which is good for our environment.
2]about subsidy information
3]budget calculation in excel format
4]nearest information center from Ahmadabad or Aanand.

Please find answers
1) For your climate cows and buffaloes , both are suitable. Price ranges from 50k to 100k
every animal is unique and you should learn to identify good animals. In the long run, difference of few thousands will not cost much as much the quality will.

2) Check with the local dairy officer or NABARD has few schemes.

3) For the calculation send me a private message with your id and Ill reply to it.

4) Visit a Vet college, They have Dairy department.
