Hello Sir
First you decide the aim and objective of your farm (like housing, feeding, breeding, number of animals)
For profitable commercial dairy production Murrah, Surti, Mehasani, Jaffrabadi, Badhawari etc. are common and popular buffalo milch breeds. Gir, Sahiwal, Red Sindhi, Tharparkar are popular cow breed.
For proper production you should give your animal required space inside the house.
Generally 40 square feet inside shed and 80 square feet open space is required per animal.

Thaks for your suggestion. I would also want to inform that i am planning for 20 Buffaloes. Can u please tell where to buy the livestock with high yielding capacity and at what cost can I get them. Also suggest me the best breed of cows and buffloes to meet my demand.

Due to some personal and financial reasons I was unable to establish my own Dairy farm. But now I expect to start with 10 cows in Baghpat UP the next year. Please advise for best breads, cattle shed design and space required, financial support and other useful information that can prove helpful.
