We wish to start Dairy farming business, can anybody suggest following

a) whether keeping cow or buffalow is beneficial?
b) what is the profitability per cow and per buffalow?
c) Which one is the higest yeilding cow and highest yeilding buffalow?

it depends on sale rate of milk andd milk yield per lactation and production cost of milk per litre
b) what is the profitability per cow and per buffalow?ate of sale of milk or milk products
again it is affected by Rate of sale of milk or milk products
c) Which one is the higest yeilding cow and highest yeilding buffalo
HF r high milkers -managementtal costs? and other problems
buffaloes- levelof ur management is important.

Better if u mail ur resources, funds, bank loan rate of interetst, then discussuion then field visit and contract for 1 year.

Hi

Cows produce more milk with less fat, buffaloes milk has double fat content. Some markets will take buffalo milk at higher price, if that is not case go for HF cows which will produce max milk.
Depends on rate, here in karnataka, we are getting Rs. 26 per litre cows milk. Profitability is 50%.
HF is best cow for milk production.
