I am from AP. I want to start country chicken farming. please help me. Minimum how much investment needed to start farm. i want to start 500 layer and monthly 100 birds for meat. what are good breeds for layer and broiler. Please give me the economics of the project like food, chicks cost, sheds etc.

In AP, hyderabad, Rajendranagar has Poultry Development project (PDP) here you can get chicks and all poultry developments information is available you can contact the director ramanarao

here you can get chicks @ 12 Rs. varities. 1.Gramani for eggs 2.vanaraja for chicken and other verities also
