economics of spirulina cultivation in a nut shell

Mr wikoo,
the basic information of spirulina cultivation is as follows:
-spirulina is grown in ponds of 15"-20" (depth) shallow pons with a width of 10 ' and length as per our site conditions.( my ponds are 10'x25' /10'x40').
- the yield per square feet will be 1gm per day.(or 9gm/m2).
- the pond and other infrastructure will be approximately Rs 100 per sft.
-the nutrient cost will be Rs 120-150 per kg of dry mass produced.
- the present market price of spirulina in bulk is between 450-600 without any certifications.

if two people work for two to three hours they can harvest wet mass equivalent to 1.5 kg..
the culture need to be agitated every one hour or at least 5 times a day for good results.

i can train / help u in culturing spirulina.

you may save any where between 150 - 230 per kg depending how much you pay for labor.
