Cloned Teak Tree is best or other ways plz?

Hi,

I have an acre land in andhra pradesh, rajamundry and want to plant teak plantation. Which type of Teak plant/tree is best? Is Cloned trees are good? where are these available please?

Hi Raja,

I suppose by "cloned Teak" you mean Tissue Culture teak. TC Teak is better than traditional teak saplings because they have uniform growth, faster yeild (15 year for tissue culture produced, 20 years for traditional) and more output (350 tons in an acre for tissue culture, traditional varies and is much lower).
