Chrysanthemums cultivation in Kodaikkanal

I want to grow chrysanthemums in kodaikkanal. Will the temperature and soil condition be suitable to grow Chrysanthemums. I want to cultivate in the open field. pl guide me

Perhaps u are refering to Pyrethrum. It can be cultivated. Flower price may be approximately Rs.250/=kg. Geranium is also a promising crop for kodaikanal.Earlier we (CIMAP,Lucknow) had a Centre in Kodai and used to grow these crops.
