Question Can we use casurina timber for fencing a permaculture farm

I am building a permaculture farm, wondering if I can use casurina timber for fence, I am also planting live fence which will eventually grow in a year and cover the boundaries investing in stone fencing might cost a bit more. Please suggest

Casuarina equisetifolia ( Australian pine ) is salt tolerant and grows well in poor sandy soils . The plant is used to control erosion along coastlines, estuaries, riverbanks and waterways .

The concept of of living fences in permaculture vary from place to place . Any plant species introduced for use as a living fence should have the following characteristics:

Resilience to cattle browsing or leaning against it.
Rapid growth from cuttings or seeds.
Multiple useful properties

Some of the plant species that can be used as living fences

Acacia nilotica ( Babool ) , Agave spp.( Kamal cactus ) , Anacardium occidentale ( Cashew ) , Bambusa vulgaris( Bamboo ) , Bambusa multiplex ( Hedge bamboo ), Bauhinia rufescens ( Kachnar ) , Bixa orellana ( Latkan ) , Cassia grandis( Gulmohar ) , Ficus citrifolia (Pukar ) Ficus microcarpa ( Kamarup ) , Gliricidia sepium ( Giripushpa), Grevillea robusta ( silver oak ), Hibiscus rosa-sinensis ( Jaswand ) , Jatropha curcas ( Ratanjot), Leucaena leucocephala ( safed babool ), Maclura tinctoria ( Dudhi ) , Manihot esculenta ( tapioca ) , Moringa oleifera (Sahajan ) , Morus spp ( Sahatoot ) , Opuntia spp ( Nag phani ) , Sesbania grandiflora ( gach munga ) , Ziziphus jujube ( Ber ) , Talipariti tiliaceum ( Bola ) , Spondias purpurea ( Ambara ) , Justicia adhatoda ( Vasaka ) , Lannea grandis ( Mohin ) , Agave sisalana ( Sisal ) Euphorbia tirrucali ( angli thor ) , Graptophyllum pictum ( kala adulsha ) , Vitex negundo (Nirgundi ) etc .
