Govt. of India policy support
Government of India has released the National Policy on Bio-Fuels 2018 vide gazette notification no. 33004/99 dated 8.6.2018 revised notification no. 20/222 dated 28-02-2020 .
The policy emphasizes on promotion of advanced Bio-fuels including CBG
The Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Dhan (GOBAR-DHAN) scheme was launched by Government of India to convert cattle dung and solid waste in farms to Bio-CNG (CBG) and compost
The Guidelines provides for Central Financial Assistance in the form of capital subsidy and Grants-in-Aid in respect of the following activities .
1.Installation of plants of Biogas production from Industrial Waste, Sewage Treatment Plants, Urban & Agricultural Waste/ Residue through Biomethanation.
2.Installation of plants of Power generation or production of BioCNG/enriched Biogas from Biogas produced from Industrial Waste, Sewage Treatment Plants, Urban & Agricultural Waste/ Residue.
3.Installation of Biomass Gasifier for feeding power into the grid or meeting captive power and thermal needs of rice mills/other industries and villages.
4.Installation of Plants of recovery of energy/power from Municipal Solid Waste.
Technology :
1.Projects based on Waste-to-Energy conversion technologies namely, Biomethanation, Combustion, Gasification, Pyrolysis or a combination thereof or any new technology as approved by MNRE shall be eligible for CFA ( Central Financial Assistance )
2.Projects for generation of Power from Biogas shall be based either on 100% Biogas engines/gas turbines or steam turbines with a minimum steam pressure of 42bar.
3.BioCNG/Enriched Biogas to be produced shall meet the specifications of BIS IS 16087: 2016 or any other further revisions in the said specifications.
Criteria :
To avail financial support, the applicant must have availed term loan from any Bank/financial institution. One time back ended Central financial assistance for Waste to Energy projects through banks/FIs will be provided for offsetting loan amount. Loan may be taken from any Indian Bank (commercial and co-operatives)/Financial Institution or International Bank/Financial Institution.
CFA :
1.Biogas (Rs. 1.0 crore per 12000m3 Biogas /day.(Maximum CFA- Rs.10 crore/project)
2.BioCNG /CBG (Rs 4.0 crore. Per 4800 kgs of BioCNG/day generated from 12000m3 Biogas /day (MWeq).
3.Biogas Power Generation
( Gas Engine Turbine ) Rs 3.0 crore / MW. (Maximum CFA- Rs.10 crore/project)
( BoilerSteam Turbine ) Rs 3.0 crore / MW. (Maximum CFA- Rs.10 crore/project)
4.BiomassGasifier :
Electrical
( For Industries ) Rs.2,500 per KWe with dual fuel engines
( For off grid village supply ) Rs. 15,000 per kWe with 100% gas engines
CBG Production Technology :
Biogas is a product from the process of degradation of organic matter by anaerobic bacteria. The biogas generation process consists of four subsequent chemical and biochemical reactions i.e. Hydrolysis reaction, Acidogenesis reaction, Acetogenesis reaction and Methanogenesis reaction. Some basic technologies are used are
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA)
Water scrubbing
Membrane Separation
Chemical scrubbing - Monoethylammine (MEA) system
Cryogenic upgrading etc.
Business Model for CBG ( Compressed Bio Gas ) by Oil Marketing Companies ( OMC )
The CBG Plants shall be set up by mainly through independent Entrepreneurs
Producer(s) / Seller(s) (Party/Entrepreneur) shall deliver CBG (within 25 Km, an indicative maximum distance), at Public sector Oil Marketing Companies’ existing or new Retail Outlet / Stand alone Selling Point, through Cascades.
Pricing : Basic Price of CBG meeting IS 16087 : 2016 standard, compressed at 250 bar and delivered at OMC Retail Outlet in cascades - Rs 46/ kg +Rs . 2.30 / k ( GST 5 % )

Dear Sir,
We are resolving environmental problems through our fixed dome type Bio-Gas technology which helps in cleaning the environment. This technology is very useful for Swachh Bharat Mission and Implementation of Smart Cities.
We are pleased to inform you that we are now selected as a Nodal Agency by Urban Development Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh (letter attached) for designing and construction of fixed dome type bio-gas plant for solving energy, pollution, wastes from (sewar, sewar line, toilet, slaughter house, dead animals, dung, Kanha Upvan shelter home/Gaushala, kanji house, kitchen, duckweed & other bio-degradable wastes), pollution & other environment problems since 1979. Our designed projects are cheapest in its class, we also take warrantee of our projects for 30 years. We can also design & prepare DPR after being informed about the availability of wastes / population of the area. Our projects are running successfully in India & Abroad.

Thanks & Regards
