Banana seeds

I nearly broke a tooth eating a banana today.........I didn't know bananas had such big seeds!.........I suspect the old species had seeds and we have bred them out for commercial purposes over time?......Am I right?

BAnana seeds??? They are very tiny and do not cause any harm. Which variety are you speaking about??

Hope you have eaten the banana which have stone in it. there is a verity of banana have stone in it and called as jungle kallubale in kannada:

The seeds are the size of a small pea are black in colour and are very hard.

There are up to about six seeds in each fruit - The friut itself is a small variety bought from market stalls in Thailand. - When ripe, it is delicious - full of natural sugars.
