Advise to start Cow farming and Poultry farming

Dear Sri,

i own 5 acres of land near Kalpakam , chennai. i would like to start cow farming or Poultry farming . But i have not idea about both (Whom to contact to get chicks/cow,what is the investment and returns, if i will get any loan from society or bank).Please advise and provide the contact details if any near my place.

Reg - Advise to start cow farming

Hello....


First you to analyze the market for cow milk and buffalo milk as well as poultry farm...

If you have own land then you will get loan from the Bank with collateral security ...

You have to visit dairy farms and as well as poultry farms for know about the process....

You have 5 acres land right .... if you want to start dairy farm with 10 buffaloes you need 4 acres of land for grass.... later it will be increased depend upon development.... and 1 acre for shed construction and servant quarters...


Now a days sheep farm is more profitable than poultry farm...
