I am Damodara Das from ISKCON Salem.
What is the location of these 640 acres @50,000/acre land.

I am in a search of 50-70 acres of land with following basic criteria:

Acres: 50-70 acres
Cost: upto 1.5L/acre for uncultivated and upto 2.5 L/acre for cultivated.
(If cheaper land we can buy more acres)
Districts: Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Trichy, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Vellore, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, West Villupuram, Erode.
Ground Water level in open wells: not more than 50-60 ft deep in summer season.
Terrain: Non-hilly terrain is preferable.
Nearby villages: Should be far from city or highway but nearby villages should be there in max. 2-3 km radius.

Project Details:
Project is to establish a small village based on Simple living and High thinking principle (Vedic village). A group of grihastha (householder) devotees that will stay, with their families, on the land and their mode of livelihood will be farming and cow protection. We are planning ultimately not to depend on modern civilization and to cut off completely the economic interaction with the modern civilization. So we plan to become self-sufficient from land and cows and thus not to use any money, electricity etc. For this one of the most important criteria is that we should be able to draw water from the well using bullocks only. So the water level in the well below ground should be not more than 30-40 ft up to winter (in summer we will not farm). Another most important criteria is district as above mentioned because our majority of manpower is going to come from Salem.
