A farm land of 5 acres in Karighatta is for sale.
Before explaining the features of the land,
I would like to give more information about Karighatta.
...........................................................................
Karighatta is a hill that has been mentioned in the ancient texts, as 'Neelachala' meaning 'Blue Mountain'. Also Karighatta in Kannada means Black Hill. It is 20 kms from Mysore, just after Srirangapattana, on the right side of the highway and if you are driving from Bengalooru, it is before Srirangapattana on the left side of the highway. Having an elevation of 2,697 m above sea level, the hill is home to an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vaikunta Srinivasa, popularly known as Lord Vishnu. Installed by Sage Brigu , the idol is black in colour and 6 ft tall.
Yoga Srinivasa and Bhoga Srinivasa idols are present near the main deity. In a separate sanctum, Goddess Padmavathi is installed. Facing the main deity along with the Garudastamba, or the pillar of Garuda, lies the statue of Garuda, the vehicle of Lord Srinivasa. Vishnu Paada, stone foot print, of the lord is present behind the temple.
Beside the hill, flows River Loakpavani, a tributary of River Cauvery. This river joins River Cauvery at the foothills and continues to flow to meet Pashchima Vahini, or westwards branch of River Cauvery at Sangama. From the top of the hills, you can see Sri Ranganatha Temple, Nimishamba Temple, Kunti Betta, Chamundi Hills, Mysore City and many othert places. Patches of grasslands, deciduous forests and tamarind trees are found on the hill.
From the foot hills till the top , a well maintained road is there. Apart from that, people who wants to climb can go by 450 steps.
Recently a bridge has been built between river Kavery and Lokapavani near Nimishamba Temple for easy access to the hill from the other Bank.
..............................................
Now coming back to the farm land which is for sale in Karighatta.
