2009 Drought, Affect of Rise in Fodder Prices

Dear Readers

I was reading about how the 2009 drought in India casued havoc in the dairy sector. Reports say that fodder prices rose to 3-4 times and farming become unvaibale for the small farmers.

I am interested in knowing how you guys were affected? The dairy farm owners here are knowledgable lot, so your point of views will be of much interest.
