hi..

I am 22 yr IT professional from pune…. And don’t know anything about farming
I got 5-6 acres of land from my grandfather in Nagpur,
I am keenly interest in investing some money to make that land under cultivation and to get returns as well...

But I can’t visit there regularly so I need farming, which need not to be taken care very much or should not need my presence there in Nagpur (like sag wan trees or something like that)
So need helps on---

Which farming I should do?

Which types of crops are beneficial for our land where we mostly depend on monsoon?

How to do it?

How much time is required to convert land into cultivation?

What can be minimum investment for that?

When the return will start?

And do that land is capable or applicable to that or not?

Thanks indeed...

Dear Sir,

I think you should start Emu Bird Breeding farm. Study the details on the internet. I would also like to request you to take proper knowledge before investing your money in this.

Dear Sir

ur land in nagpur is very well suitable for cultivation of oranges, lime and sweet orange.
Sagwan is also a good option. and u can also try some intercultivation in between such as lemon grass, aloevera etc.

Most of Indian citrus fruits are from Nagpur . You can very well think of going in for orange cultivation or even lime.
