Let me answer to all your queries one by one:-
1. More than 30 clients successfully running dairy farms in Ludhiana, nabha, Patiala, Jallandhar and Navashaher.
2.Cow suitable for Punjab:-
a) For Tarai Greenlands like Doaba (ludhiana, jallandher, Amritsar) and Patiala, sangrur and Nabha the preffered breed is HF with high exotic blood level (F7 and above).
b) For drier areas like Bhatinda Preffered breed is crossbreed Holstein (HF) and jersey crosses of F1 or max. 62% exotic blood.
c) Crossbreed is recommended where loose housing facility is not available like dairy colonies of Ludhiana (TajPur and Habbowal).
d) Jersey for places like Hoshiarpur and Ropar.
2.Buffaloes available and suitable for punjab:-
a) Murrah (8 lits to 20 lits)
b) Nili ravi (8 lits to 20 lits)
Buffaloes of both breeds can be reared any where in Punjab.
