Planing to do a teak plantation out of my 3 acre land. Looking for options to do a inter-crop for sustained income. Anything with continues productivity and low maintenance(Inter-crop should start produce at-least after 3 years).

Even looking for livestock farming options(goat preferred). Is there way to produce goat feeds(grasses) after 1 year of teak plantation, after all the "infrastructure and initial investment" for livestock farming, for 1 year I can sustain the farm without any additional income.

Teak is not a tree that will be happy with other crops around. Just look at any teak plantations and even in forests and see how many plants are growing under it. You may consider other tree plantation such as Melia Dubia and there are possibilities for many inter crops along with such trees. Thank you for input,
Quick question with respect to your info provided. what will be the ROI after 10 years .i.e. harvesting the trees after 10 years.
