Dear Agri Feternity,

I need your valuable suggestion/support to set up a multipurpose/Multi commodity cold storage plant.

we are planing large scale vegetable and fruits cultivation and buffalo, Indian breed cow milk dairy farm, for that we are planing to set up multipurpose cold storage. please guide me on the below points.

1. Is there any subsidies, encouragement from government
2. How to get bank loans
3. How to select storage capacity
4. Project Report

your valuable suggestions/Guidance will help me to proceed further. since i am new to agriculture and dairy farming, experts support would help me to take decisions.

Hi, Cold storage plant project is a very good idea and a very good source of profitable business.
For Cold storage plant development project State Govt. as well as Central Govt. have subsidies according to budget.
Banks always welcome profitable business projects. Prepare your project report and authorize the report by a CA. then approach to the bank but first check its schemes online or offline. Bank manager will tell you what you have to follow next.
But before setup a cold storage plant i will request you, Visit near by cold storage plant and spend minimum one month to understand the all things related to plant.
