What are the procedures to apply for organic farming certification in Tamilnadu?

Hi i am new to this forum.

As the title suggests what are the procedures or where can i get the organic farming certification from, in Tamilnadu?

Is there any specific government organisations to apply for the organic farming certification? If so how many days will it take to get organic certification?

Go for this only if you foresee exporting to foreign countries.

Lot of paperwork happens in getting Organic Certification. Also, the soil will take sometime to get rid of any previously used chemical fertilizers by applying the right selection of organic manures etc.

The time for issuing certificate depending upon the area and the soil used sofar. If it is virigin and not used over period of 10 - 20 years it is easy for them to issue, that is even the traces of chemicals not there in the soil the time taken is less. You can contact the Tamil nadu Agiriculture University, TNAU coimbatore

Thank you sir for your reply, i will surely contact the TNAU coimbatore for the organic certificate.

Sir, we have been doing agriculture organically for about 11 years and when we bought the land it was about 3 - 5 yrs unused with unwanted weeds fully grown so we did the whole clearing works and started planting coffee and pepper and Hill banana. And we are applying only panchakavya and cow dung in our land from the day we bought the land.
