i am planning to open a broiler cum layering business. i have land of 16 acres in lucknow. my plan is to start first broiler with 50,000 birds a month and then after 3 months with 75,000 birds fro laying. what is the market situation in lucknow/adjoining cities. will the existing market will be able to consume all the production or we have to explore the market in NCR regions. what will be the capital and revenue cost for both brolier and layering business. what is the payback period of the capital cost. land value is approx 2 crores. what is project IRR.need complete technical and financial info. plan to purchase feed initially and then go for in-house mixing of feed with purchased raw materials

Do'nt go for Layer farming / Broiler units with White leghorn , because margin index is very low , more competition , disease risk is more and Eggs are surplus in U.P. with less stocking facilities ..
