Diary Farming / Stall Fed Goat Farming

Hi All,

This is Raghu. I am working in a bpo concern in chennai for the past 10 yrs and want to concentrate on our primary occupation ie Agriculture.

My residence is situated in Kanchipuram and want to start either with Cows or with Stall fed method suggested by Vijay Goat Farm. I have not met Mr. Venkatesh of Vijay goat farm but i will meet him in short time.

Friends, i am a single person and i just want to start with an investment of upto 1 lakh. I am a animal lover and also has family. Just in any family, people doubt and has a sort of fear in setting up a Dairy farm / Goat farm. But i am the only person have confidence that i can earn much much more than the Bpo concern and also promote my Town kanchipuram.

Experts and diehard persons, please let me know your suggestions which one to start and how to start, where i can get all the details. Thanks.

One lakh is a small amount to start a dairy farm. Perhaps you can go for a goat farm. Returns are much faster in goat farm.

You need agricultural land to grow fodder.
