Reg. sandal wood

There is no govt. rules prohibiting anybody from growing sandalwood. But it is mandatory in Karnataka state to obtain govt. permission before cutting sandalwood trees. this you can get from forest. dept.
There is a limitation to posess certain limit of stock with any body. But you have to clarify with the respective authorities.

No permissions required to cultivate sandalwood

Dear Mr Kishore,

SEBI related to Share&Stocks and not for Agriculture and there is no Permissions required for Sandal Wood/Teak Wood/Red Sanders cultivation
after attaining required Girth(Dia) i.e 20-30 Years only required for cutting of Trees.before going to cutting you should getting permission from Revenue Dept(Proof of Cultivation in Patta Lands) and then from Local Forest Office for Cutting ,Dwelling,Measuring Calculate Quantity and they give Transport Permit for Buyer destination.nothing worry at this stage- Proceed-gudluck
