All about Land

Hi everybody,

I want to venture into agribusiness and I have made my project plan. The biggest challenge I am facing now is to acquire Land for the project. I have finalised couple of places in AP. But due to complexity in our revenue system and lack of clear law I am facing an issue.
Can anyone help me to answer these questions please?

-> How do we classify a land as government land and classify a land as assigned land ? which is the base register and who is the authority to let us know it is private land.

-> Is it true that if the land got registered before 1954 we can purchase that land?

Hello!!!

1. You need to contact the concerned person in Revenue Dep't. if you are looking land in AP. Once again, I need not tell its all govt. matters. Hope you get me!!!

2. You can get good lands in TN. Alternetively, you can contact me..

In AP, land classification is available at RSR(resurvey settlement register) and 0ld 10(1) register and adangal. Verify these at the Tahsildars office or VRO of that village before purchasing the land. I advise you, purchase only Ryot patta land. Not go for Assigned lands. Lands purchased before 1954 can be purchased only that the owner of the land must have fulfilled certain formalities (like paying sisthu/sessulu) to the govt. In this case also verify RSR, whether the land is Patta or Government.

150 acres/part of barren land (@ Rs.40, 000/acre) & 8 acres mango plantation (@ Rs. 4 lakh/ acre) is available in Kokan, Maharashtra at Dehen, 28 kms. from Mandangad on Anjarle Rd. Road, water & electricity can be made available. Titles are clear.
