Ms. Priyanka Bhardwaj is a Ph.D Scholar (Plant Pathology) at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry in Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. She says “Apiculture is a science of rearing of honey bees. Apart from honey, bees provide us with propolis, venom, wax etc which has got great demand in the market. Honey bees have major role in pollination, without them almost 85% of the cross pollinated crops would not occur.”
