Mr. Sameer Akhil Sirdeshpande has done M.Sc (Horticulture) has specialised in Post Harvest Technology. He is the third generation farmer, having 26 acres irrigated land cultivating anola, sapota, banana, maize sorghum and sunflower depending upon the season. He also has a small dairy farm which is attached to bio-gas plant, practicing integrated management in production of both agricultural and horticultural crops. Development of processed amla products was first initiated by his mother, later they established Alka Amla Products which produces amla candy and amla juice (sugarless). His interest is production, processing & marketing of fruits suitable for dry land area
