Dr. Desh Beer Singh is the former Director of ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He has significantly contributed on development of high yielding varieties of temperate and tropical horticultural crops and developed various technologies on minimal processing of fruits and vegetables for quality maintenance, processing technologies for making novel value added products of temperate and arid fruits.
