Dr. Abhishek Walia is the Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, College of Basic Sciences, CSKHPKV, Palampur,Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Walia worked in the area of Agriculture, Industrial and Environmental Microbiology. He has been awarded with the Best Paper Award in the year 2012 by Sadhna Society, Solan, HP. He completed his Masters and Doctorate in Microbiology at Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry and awarded with DST-Inspire Fellowship by Government of India and also got Ph.D Gold Medal by HIMOTKARSH Parishad, Una, (HP) for securing top position in the College of Forestry.
