Mr. Biju Narayanan , Owner of Ulickal AgroFarms, Kannur, Kerala is a Mechanical Engineer and has been a farmer for quite sometime now. He says, he is from an agriculture family and have grown up with an understanding of hard work. After he quit his job as a mechanical engineer and ventured into farming, he noticed that traditional methods of farming was in a way outdated. So he changed few things and introduced modern concepts in farming and merged them with the traditional ones. This provided a big boost to the productivity. Mr. Biju Narayanan also grow 54 varieties of pepper, one of the largest private collections in India.
