site for apartment

We chosen a site measures 2250 sq Yards for constructing apartment ,
But it was a pond 30 years back, we have given for soil test and result shows 12 , we have taken loose soil up to 5 feet and again 3 feet down total 8 feet depth taken for foundation. is there any problem to build a apartment in this place we are planning 5 floors (50 Units)
