hi we are looking to start an organic farm near kolkata. land on which we would start will be about 15 bighas. any help regarding procedure will be appreciated.

Kindly mention the land is how many hectors.
At present, your land is a patient from chemical usage and you have to treat the patient minimum three years to convert into organic. Kindly read from web site and facebook, regarding "Zero Budget Natural Farming" to know more about organic farming. If there is any training camp near by you, participate the camp to understand more. (available from facebook postings) This system provides natural farm or organic farm products for Zero budget as FREE. A local cow's waste is enough to fertile 12 hectors / 30 acres of land.
