I am a Mumbai-based media man and writer, who does not belong to a farming background. But I now have the opportunity to make a modest investment in agriculture, farm or orchard land. I am looking for any beautiful location on as high an altitude as possible, with the presence of greenery, trees, natural water sources and bodies a must. While any part of my own state of Maharashtra is preferred, I can look at viable options in other states also. Please note that I am not looking to buy in any known or popular hill station, resort or tourist centre. I am searching for my kind of property in a totally unknown, virgin and undiscovered location.
