The following job position is available in our company.
Job Position: General Manager – Plantation Operations
Job Location: Bangalore. Involves Travel
Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 8-10
years experience in Plantation related works. Preferably in Forest plantations. The candidate
should have managed Plantations at multiple locations simultaneously.
Post Graduate /Graduate in Forestry. MBA will be more preferred.
Preferably candidates with:
1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
2. Strong Inter- personal skills with people management abilities
3. A knowledge of current interests, achievements and debates in plantation sector
4. The ability to think visually
5. The ability to develop original concepts for developing plantations
6. Should have the capability to run each of the plantations as an independent profit center.
7. The ability to work individually and as part of team
8. The ability to take decisions and perform under pressure
9. Good knowledge of operating computers and basic office packages
Compensation: CTC 7.2 lacs per annum
Profile Description:
General Manager, Plantation Operations:
1. Manage a plantation team with Managers and field executives to establish and run
the Energy Plantations.
2. To direct the team and ensure that the day to day operations are running smoothly.
3. Conduct periodical reviews of the plantation operations at different locations and
reporting the same to the Management team.
4. Travel and conduct inspections at all the plantation sites and ensure that the
plantation are well maintained and are giving the expected yields.
5. Identify, recruit and train Managers and field Executives for new plantation projects.
6. Participate and contribute to the continuous development of Management systems
as well as technical aspects of Energy Plantations in the Company.
7. Be responsible for all finance related matters of plantations including budgeting,
cost control, plantation finance management etc.
8. Be responsible for all the assets of the company at all Energy Plantation Locations.
9. Be responsible for all compliances with environment policies along with the safety.
