I m son of farmer and living in Gujarat .I have 5 hecater of land and i want to grow tree in the same as investment.
1) which tree i should plant that will give me better return ?

You may plant Melia Dubia ( harvest in 8 years) Sandalwood ( 15 Years) and Teak ( 25 years).
For first 3 years, cultivation of some short term crops may be taken up so that you start getting income in 6 months.

we are ahving melia dubia (Forestry Neem) & gmelina arborea tree seedlings .The both tree variety cultivation period will be 7 years.The longterm tree varieties like tissue culture teak and acasia mangium will take minimum 12 years for harvest.The sandalwood & redsanders will take minimum 15 years for harvest.we are having all kinds of timber value added tree plants with us.
