I would like to set up a cold storage in Chhattisgarh state (Bilaspur). Therefore seeking some expert advice on the following:
1. Capacity of the cold storage
2. Prospects of cold storage business in Chhattisgarh
3. Finance required
4. Finance available from the bank
5. Any subsidy from the government in setting up the project
6. Area of land required and at what location
7. Return on investment
8. Profit margin
9. Time schedule for the project set up

I would like to set up a cold storage in Chhattisgarh state (Bilaspur). Therefore seeking some expert advice on the following:
1. Capacity of the cold storage - generally capacity of cold storage will be 5000 to 10000 Mt capacity.
2. Prospects of cold storage business in Chhattisgarh - If crops like chillies, Begalgram , potato , pulses , tamarind etc can be stored . Please ascertain as to whether cold storage facilties are required inyour area
3. Finance required - Approximate cost will be around Rs.4.00 crores
4. Finance available from the bank - can appraoch banks for term loan of 3.00 crors
5. Any subsidy from the government in setting up the project - for vegetables under National Horticulture Board 40% subsidy is available, Under NABARD scheme 25% subsidy is available.
6. Area of land required and at what location minimum one acre
7. Return on investment 1.38 - 1.40 : 1.00
8. Profit margin Rs.25 Lakhs per annum
9. Time schedule for the project set up - 1 year
10. Whether building is required to be constructed or to be rented - building must be constructed with a cost of 2.50 crores, Machinery Rs.1.50 Crores
